Customers who want to know how much CO2 their trade fair catering generates can request a CO2 report from us. This report covers food, beverages, snacks, equipment, and staff, including travel to and from the venue.
These values have not been available anywhere else until now, so we worked with our sustainability consultant Thomas Vogt from inova and the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research Heidelberg (ifeu) to determine them.
The added value for our customers is obvious: More and more of them need or want to report their greenhouse gas emissions as transparently as possible, and that includes emissions from large events such as trade fairs. We know from our own experience that determining all this data individually and manually is a huge effort. We take this work off our customers' hands and prepare a detailed report, including a certificate, which can also be incorporated directly into their sustainability report.
